The Head of Onitsha Station of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mrs
Njideka Ezeonyejiaku says the establishment will continue to partner
groups and individuals with clear vision and ideology.

Receiving members of a group known as Neo-Zikisim Association of
Nigeria who called on her in her office, Mrs Ezeonyejiaku maintained
that Anambra Broadcasting Service will continue to be alive to its
role of Entertaining, Informing and Educating the public.

She stressed the need for proper immortalization of the Nation’s
founding fathers describing the late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe as a statesman
who played a key role in ensuring the unity and peaceful co-existence
of the Nigerian-Nation.

Mrs Ezeonyejiaku maintained that as the State government owned
electronic media the Anambra Broadcasting Service will continue to
project government programmes and policies and make them known to the
public.

Earlier in his speech the Secretary-General of Neo-Zikisim Association
of Nigeria, Comrade Jude Ozioko said the purpose of the visit was to
congratulate the new Head of Station, Mrs Ezeonyejiaku who is also
their member.

Contributing, the Chairman Civil Liberty Organization, Anambra State
Chapter Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme thanked Governor Willie Obiano for
finding Mrs Ezeonyejiaku worthy to serve as Head of Station and prayed
God to give her more wisdom.

He called on the Federal Government to declare November sixteenth as
Public Holiday to honour the Late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe.
In her speech the Head of News Unit of the Onitsha Station of the ABS,
Mrs. Chinyelu Obiejesi appreciated the group for identifying with the
Anambra Broadcasting Service attributing it to the cordial
relationship existing between them and ABS Head of Station.
