The remains of Late Chief Paul Atuchukwu Obah, aged eighty, have been laid to rest at his compound, Awuda Nnobi after a requiem mass that attracted the clergy, the religious, relatives, Catholic faithful and the ABS family.

In a homily, the priest in residence, Reverend Father Benjamin Ezekwudo, described the deceased as a very responsible, humble and easygoing man, who was very active in church activities till his demise.

In his remark, the Parish Priest of Madonna Catholic Church, Nnobi, Reverend Father Johnbosco Igboka, reminded the faithful on the importance of adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols stressing that henceforth, he will not participate in any burial ceremony where people in attendance did not wear face mask.

Later in an interview, the wives of the deceased, Mrs. Theresa and Mrs. Eucharia Obah, who eulogized their deceased husband as a man of honesty and commendable reputation , encouraged their children to uphold the legacy of their late father and eschew anything that would bring disunity.

Also speaking, the first daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Nnahibe and the first son, Mr. Nonso Oba, said their father in his life time, did his best as a manifestated in his love for the service of God and humanity.
The Anambra Broadcasting Service family also paid a condolence visit to the family as the deceased, Chief Paul Obah, retired from the establishment, as Director of Administration.
The staff and management of ABS was led by the Head of Administration, Miss Tina Ekenta while the ABS pensioners was led by Mr. Goddy Okonkwo, a former Director of Accounts.
In a condolence message, Mr. Okonkwo, described the death of the deceased as a very unfortunate incidence but asked the family to bear it with fortitude.
In his response, a member of the family, Sir Barthlomeow Ezeudoka, appreciated the ABS family for their visit and equally consoled them for the loss praying God to grant them journey mercies back home.
Interment, reading of tribute at the graveside, administration of sacrament as well as condolence visits, featured during the burial ceremony.
