Anambra Vision 2070 Committee has held a Consultative Forum with the
All Progressives Grand Alliance party faithful aimed at intimating
them with the activities of the committee.
The event, which attracted APGA members from across the state, took
place at Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka.
The Secretary to Anambra State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, said Anambra Vision 2070 Committee was set up with the aim to come up with a long term strategic development plan for Anambra state.
Professor Chukwulobelu, who is also the Secretary to the committee,
said the purpose of the meeting was to intimate the party faithful of
the activities of the Committee for them to carry the information to
the grassroots.
He revealed that the consultation does not stop in Nigeria but also
includes Ndi Anambra in the diaspora.
In his remark, the Chairman of the Committee, Professor Charles
Soludo, said the meeting is part of the very wide and expansive
consultative process that will lead ultimately to the production of
the Anambra plan.
Professor Soludo told the gathering how the Committee has been
consulting with groups in the state.
The state chairman of APGA, Sir Nobert Obi was in attendance.
