The Director for Education, Women and Youths, Christian Association of
Nigeria, CAN, Anambra State Chapter, Pastor Patrick Orogbu has advised
youths to be law abiding, embrace the opportunities in agriculture,
skill acquisition and entrepreneurship programmes of the Obiano
administration.

Pastor Orogbu made the call in Awka while speaking to Journalists.

He commended the Obiano administration for being youth friendly,
evident in the number of youths in his cabinet and with various top
government appointments and asked them to show appreciation for this
trust that has been bestowed on them by desisting from engaging in any
form of crime and criminality.

Pastor Orogbu also asked Ndi Anambra to join hands with the Governor
in the fight against insecurity since according to him, the security
of the state is a collective responsibility.

The CAN chieftain also charged Traditional Rulers and Presidents
General of communities to meaningfully engage their youths to curb
crime, youth restiveness and other social vices.

While commending the Governor for having appointed several members of
the clergy into his Government, Pastor Orogbu said this has given the
Church a sense of belonging in his Government even as they continue to
pray for the success of his Government.
