The Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, ANSIPPA,
has issued certificate of occupancy to Viju Industries Nigeria
Limited.

The issuance of the certificate was sequel to its signing  and assent
by Governor Willie Obiano.

Correspondent, Daniel Ezeigwe reports that the certificate gives the company, a legal right to site manufacturing company in Anambra State and begin operations in accordance with terms agreed with the government.

The company would be sited in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.

Presenting the certificate to representatives of the company on behalf
of Anambra State Government, the Managing Director of ANSIPPA, Mr Jide
Ikeako, said he believed that the company would add further value to
the investment drive of the present administration given its
reputation in the country’s manufacturing sector.

Mr Ikeako also assured that the government would always provide
incentives for investment development in Anambra State, as is  contained 
in the cardinal goals of the agency. 

The Anambra State Commissioner for Trade Commerce and Wealth Creation, Mr Uchenna Okafor, said that the government has sustained   efforts to attract and protect investors by placing emphasis on security which has resulted in social stability.

A co-owner of the company, Chief Collins Mbaegbu, who received the
certificate of occupancy, said that the major aim of sitting the
company in Anambra State was to create employment and to support the
“aku luo uno” philosophy of the present administration.
