The remains of Late Caroline Obi have been interred at her family
compound Umuazu Village Umuoji, Idemili North Council area.

Aged Sixty-one, the deceased, a devoted Christian was an elder sister,
to Nneka Anoliefo of the ABS.

The final journey to great beyond of late Mrs Caroline commenced with sympathizer, friends, relatives and well-wishers who gathered to pay their last respect to the deceased.

In a sermon at the funeral service held in her honour, at her compound
Pastor Austin Ifekaodo of the Deeper Life Bible Church, reminded
Christians of the need to be transformed by living a righteous life,
preparing themselves in consciousness for the last journey.

Describing the deceased as a Christian who fought a good fight for
eternity, the Pastor noted that the will of God is supreme and
encouraged Christians to maximize their lives to the glory of God.

In a remark, the husband, Mr. Dan Obi said she was humility
personified, noting that the death had created a big vacuum in his
heart.

Bearing eloquent testimony on the life and times of her late elder
sister, Mrs. Nneka Anoliefo said her life was characterized of
Christian virtues, as she brought light to the family and impacted
positively on humanity.

In their separate speeches, her first daughter, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Enwerem
and the first son, Mr. Azubuike Dan Obi, said their late mother was an
epitome of peace whose legacies will forever be etched in their minds.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, the state Chairman of Anambra
State NUJ, Comrade Emma Ifesinachi and the Secretary, Comrade
Emma Udeagha in their condolence messages urged the family to bear the
irreparable loss with fortitude, be consoled that their late mother
lived a purposeful life and prayed God to comfort them.

Various groups, in-laws, friends and well wishers took turn to pay
their condolences.
