Governor Willie Obiano has briefed President Muhammadu Buhari about
the bad condition of federal roads in Anambra State during a meeting
with the President at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Worried by the condition of federal roads in the state, Governor
Obiano had taken his complaints to the presidency to ensure a speedy
response to the outcry trailing the growing dilapidation of these
roads especially the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway.

He also used the opportunity to brief Mr. President on the slow pace
of work on the Second Niger Bridge caused by torrential flooding which
has submerged four local government areas in the state in the past few
days.

Governor Obiano also briefed President Buhari on other developments in
Anambra State and emphasized the need for expedited action on federal
government projects in the state.

According to him, his visit to Aso Rock Villa was a routine one that
enables him to bring Mr. President up to speed with developments in
Anambra State.
