Anambra State Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC,
Mr. Kehinde Aremu, has commended Anambra State government for creating
an enabling environment for the success of the scheme in the State.

Mr. Aremu, who gave the commendation while speaking on the passing out
parade of three thousand, one hundred and thirty-one three thousand
one hundred and thirty-one corps members that served in the 2020 Batch
C stream One in the State, said a major objective for establishing the
scheme was achieved in the marriage of twelve corps members, adding
that corps members, serving in the State are usually trained and
exposed to entrepreneurship and other opportunities that abound in the
State.

Mr. Aremu expressed joy over the news of reopening of NYSC camps
nationwide on 10th November, 2020, after COVID-19 lockdown, adding
that though the lockdown presented challenges, it did not undermine
the contribution of corps members to the State, as some were involved
in COVID-19 responses.

The twelve corps members, who were on Wednesday celebrated by the
National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Anambra state for hooking up
with their life partners during their service year in the state,
include Eze Obinna and Oluchi Peace, Henry Nwachoko and Charles Ruth,
Oluchukwu Davis and Ahedo Etiosa.

Others are Nsofor Obianuju and Ohale Nkemakolam, Ogburie Collins and
Nwokearu Chinyeremaka, Bernard Faith Amarachi and Okafor Chukwudi.
