The Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Disability Matters, Barr. Chuks Ezewuzie says the recent events in the Country calls for sober reflections.

Barr. Ezewuzie who was speaking to the ABS over the recent hijacking of peaceful protest across the country by hoodlums regretted that it is highly unfortunate that the genuine course embarked upon by Nigerian youths have been turned to an avenue for looting and destruction of both public and private institutions and investments.

He lamented that in times of crisis and stampede, the blind does not see where to run, the physically challenged cannot run, while the deaf will not hear the sound of gunshots and appealed to Ndi Anambra to always help persons with disabilities to stay safe in times of crisis.

The Special Adviser commended Governor Willie Obiano, various security operatives in Anambra state and Anambra state youths for returning normalcy to the state through hard work and selfless service to their father land, urging all hands to be on deck to sustain the peaceful atmosphere.

He further appealed to all employers of labour to give flexible working hours to persons with disabilities in this time of need, help them work from home as well as such activities that will not expose them to danger and prayed God to bless Anambra state.
