Anambra State Commissioner for Housing, Architect Mike Okonkwo said that Governor Willie Obiano-led administration adopted Public-Private-Partnership Model to address housing needs in the state.
Architect Okonkwo was speaking during the recent edition of ‘Meet the Media’ held at the State Secretariat Complex, Awka.
Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that according to Architect Okonkwo, the Obiano administration is using the partnership to fill housing gap in the state as government cannot sustain development alone hence, the reason for the ‘Aku Luo Uno’ call, which according to him, is gradually yielding desired results.
Architect Okonkwo explained that the present administration has touched almost all aspects of the economy including revamping all the General Hospitals and twelve technical schools among others.
‘Meet The Media’ which gives insight into the performance of the present administration is anchored by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Obiano, Mr. James Eze and his Deputy, Mr. Emeka Ozumba.
