Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Anambra State Chapter, over the weekend dedicated a secretariat building for administrative use.
The building which will house all the offices of the body is situated at Amawbia.
The dedication attracted the national officers of the association, present and past chairmen, Bishops and Reverends as well as other members of the association.
In a message during the dedication, the Vice President South East, Reverend Dr Cosmas Ilechukwu regretted the revival of paganism among the youths, stating that Pentecostal movement must brace up to the challenge and ensure that the society is sanitized and Christ takes His place.
Reverend Dr Ilechukwu encouraged them to continue with the crusade of societal transformation noting that the secretariat will boost the image of the fellowship.
The State Chairman of PFN, Bishop Moses Ezedebego in a welcome address, said the Anambra PFN is growing in leaps and bounds spiritually, numerically and structurally, commending the Late Archbishop Professor David Ebelechukwu for seeing to the solid foundation of the secretariat.
Speaking in an interview, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Religion and Pentecostal Matters, Pastor Felix Eke said that the secretariat will enhance the operations of the PFN and called on the members to support the administration of Governor Willie Obiano who he said is friendly to them.
In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Dr Foster Ihejiofor extolled the brains behind the edifice stating that indeed it is a bold step which requires support and cooperation of all members so as to achieve the aims in which the secretariat was built.
