Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Afam Mbanefo has inaugurated a new station for Transport Corporation of Anambra State, TRACAS, at Dike Park along Zik Avenue, Awka.
Mr. Mbanefo said the inauguration was in line with the mandate of the ministry to enhance convenience in transport services to the people of the state.
He lauded the safety and quality services provided by the transport company for travelers from various parts of the country.
In his remarks, the Managing Director of TRACAS, Dr Ifeoma Madukasi said that the state government ordered that the services of the company be brought to Eke-Awka axis.
She thanked Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje of Umunya for his efforts at facilitating the provision of the land.
Igwe Onyekwuluje in a special prayer committed into the hands of God, the progress of TRACAS and its workers at the new site.
