The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Housing has expressed satisfaction with the quality of jobs done so far at the International Conference Center under construction in Awka.

The Chairman of the committee, Honourable Lawrence Ezeudu stated this when the committee embarked on oversight to the project site.

House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Honourable Ezeudu described the International Conference centre as a landmark project of the Obiano administration which will improve the socio -economic activities of the state.

The legislator who observed that the construction firm handling the project is working according to specifications urged them to maintain it as well as complete it on schedule.

Conducting the committee round the project, the Project Manager Mr. Abiola Kolawole explained that the International Conference Centre with ten thousand seating capacity is at steel roof installation stage and will be completed in March next year.

Mr. Kolawole stated that on completion the conference centre will contain major indoor games such as table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, mini guest house, eateries, banks, gallery among others.
