The Emeritus Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments at the Vatican, Francis Cardinal Arinze says good legacy left while alive keeps speaking for one even in death.,He stated this at Saint Edwards Catholic Church, Eziowelle in Idemili North Local Government Area as the remains of the late Chief Chuba Charles Amobi, were laid to rest.

The pontifical requiem mass attracted the Auxiliary Bishop Of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Reverend Dennis Isizor and other religious Council Of Knights And Ladies, Traditional Ruler’s, the people of Eziowelle, Friends and Well Wishers who converged to pay their last respects to the late Chief Amobi.

In a homily during the Mass, Francis Cardinal Arinze acknowledged that the Amobi family were passing through a hard time as death took away the lives of their loved ones. He however reminded them that God is the resurrection and life and whosoever that believeth will have eternal life describing the deceased as a great leader who has the fear of God.,While Commiserating with the family, the wife of the Governor of Anambra State Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano represented by the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Mr. Raphel Nnabuife condoled the family asking them to take solace in the fact that the deceased contributed immensely to the development and growth of Eziowelle praying God for the repose of his soul.

In their condolence messages, the Chairman of Ngozika Estate Residents Welfare Association, Awka, Mr Charles Mbakiwe who led other members to the burial said they had it so good with the deceased both the Late Chike and Charles Amobi, charging the family to follow the legacies left behind by their father.

While thanking God and others who shared in their moments of grief, the son and daughter of the deceased, Mr Victor Amobi and Mrs Theresa Azubike said their father left a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.,Correspondent Amaka Chibuzor Okoye reports that the late Chief Chuba Amobi died at the age of eight nine and was the husband of Lady Grace Amobi, former member one, Anambra State Universal Basic Education, Board.
