As part of efforts to ensure that Governor Willie Obiano’s vision that every citizen of Anambra State has a fulfilled Christmas, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service Dr  Uche Nworah has celebrated with women of Enugwu Ukwu Community in Njikoka Local Government Area.

According to Dr Nworah, the initiative, inspired by Governor Willie Obiano is to help the less privileged be part of the Christmas celebration.

He added that it is also in keeping with the spirit of be your brothers and sisters keeper   being promoted by the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA and upheld by the Obiano administration.

Dr  Nworah who is also a member of the Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri Cabinet noted that despite the challenging circumstances, Christians should continue  to  love  and give more and above all put smile on people’s faces for a fruitful Christmas.

Appreciating Dr Nworah, the woman Leader of the community, Mrs Jane Oranye pointed out that the women have collectively nicknamed him “Odi Mbu Eme” and prayed God to bless and keep him and his household as they wished him more fruitful years ahead.

The women who through their spokesperson revealed that Dr Nworah has continuously waded in misunderstandings concerning women, extolled Dr Uche Nworah’s Mother for his good upbringing which has endeared him to the people of the community.

Responding, the mother popularly known as Iru Ezigbo in the community expressed joy at Dr Nworah’s humane attributes which she noted is worthy of  emulation, praying God to continue to uplift him in all endeavours.
