Commitment and dedication to work of God have been described as effective ways to attract divine blessings and God’s Grace.

The immediate past Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Sir Ndu Ughamadu, stated this during an Annual Thanksgiving and Bazaar of Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area.

Sir Ughamadu, represented by the President of Rotary Club of Awka, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Rotarian Abuchi Nwozor, implored the faithful to invest their resources in the things of God, noting that nothing pays more than investing in the vineyard of God, for there are so much rewards and grace in doing so.

He noted that running the race for God’s paradise is crucial as it would not only give life but will also usher in immeasurable blessings.

Earlier in a homily to mark the thanksgiving service, the Parish Priest of the Church, Reverend Father Sylvester Dunu, who stressed the imperative of standing firm on the promises of God to conquer all earthly worries, urged everyone to always live a life of thanksgiving and sacrifice to God and appreciated the Nibo Catholic Community in Lagos State for making this year’s harvest the best so far.

                 

On his part, the Chairman on the Occasion, Retired Colonel Ben Nwozor, whose remarks centered on the theme of the event “Harvest of Upliftment and Fulfilment”, said that harvest, is to invest and sow in the vineyard of God and to also thank God for His blessings.

               

In their separate interviews, some sons of Nibo Community, including Chief Alex  Odigwe, Chief Chike Arinze and the Chairman of Harvest and Bazaar Committee, Mr. Jude Ilozor, called on well-to-do individuals to always support the growth of the church.
