Reverend Father Chinaewubeze Theophilus Ebulueme (Ph.D) is an ordained Catholic Priest of the Most High God. Born to Chief Lazarus and Madam Theresa Ebulueme, now late, from Uhuori, Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Reverend Father Theo has so much in life to be thankful to God.

Father Theo, as he is fondly called, had his primary education at Central School, Ukpor between 1974 and 1980. He left Saint Paul’s Seminary, Ukpor and All Hallow’s Seminary, Onitsha in 1985 to proceed to Bigard Memorial Seminary, Ikot Ekpene (now Saint Joseph’s Major Seminary, Ikot Ekpene) where he obtained his BA in Philosophy in 1990 and Bigard Memorial Seminary Enugu, where he also graduated with BA in Theology in 1995.

On July 22, 1995, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme was ordained to the priesthood at Saint Mary’s Mother of the Church Parish, Ukpor with three other priests from Ukpor (Fathers Celestine Okonkwo, Cyprian Ohagwa, and Alexander Okonkwo) by late Bishop Emmanuel Otteh, the then Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha.

Thereafter, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme served the Lord as Associate Parish Priest at Saint Michael’s Parish, Fegge, Onitsha from September 10, 1995 to January 10, 1997. He went on a mission to Catholic Diocese of Buea, Cameroon as a Fidei donum priest where he served as Associate Parish Priest at Sacred Heart Fiango, Kumba and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, Muyuka for three years.

When Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme left Cameroon in 2000, he was appointed the Parish Priest of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Oraifite by His Grace, Most Reverend Dr. Albert Obiefuna of the blessed memory. For his love for humanity and passion for children, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme, in September 2001, started Sacred Heart College, Oraifite when public schools in Anambra State were on strike for many months leaving the children vulnerable.

In the year 2003, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme received permission from His Lordship, Most Rev. Hilary Odili Okeke to travel to the United States of America to acquire more knowledge. The academic journey started with Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio where he obtained Master of Arts in Theology.

In 2004, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme became the Medical Facility Chaplain for the Diocese of Nashville in Tennessee, USA, a position he held from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2009. While in Nashville, he started Nigerian Catholic Community at Saint Edward in the city in October 2004 and the following year, 2005, he had his Clinical Pastoral Education with internship at Baptist Hospital (now St Thomas Midtown Hospital).

Between August 1, 2009 and August 1, 2019, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme served as the Associate Parish Priest, Immaculate Conception Church Clarksville, Tennessee and Parish Priest, Holy Name Church in Nashville. While serving the Lord in various capacities in the USA, Reverend Father Theo Ebulueme completed his M.A. and Ph.D in Counseling Psychology at Argosy and Trevecca Nazarene Universities respectively.

Till date, Reverend Father Dr Theo Ebulueme is the Parish Priest of Holy Name Catholic Church, Nashville Tennessee, USA. He is a versatile priest and has the opportunity to travel round the world.

Reverend Father Dr Chinaewubeze Theo Ebulueme is grateful to God for all these, as well as those who have supported his journey thus far. Reverend Father Dr Chinaewubeze Theo Ebulueme celebrates his Silver Jubilee ordination at Saint Mary Mother of the Church Parish, Ukpor as a servant of the Most High God. Reverend Father Dr Chinaewubeze Theo Ebulueme celebrates together with Reverend Fathers Celestine Okonkwo, Cyprian Ohagwa, and Alexander Okonkwo on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021.
