The Anambra South Zonal Commander of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade, Mr Emmanuel Obi has cautioned residents against indiscriminate disposal of waste this Yuletide season.
He also harped on the need for residents and Christmas holiday makers to abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols and as well obey traffic rules.

Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra known as OCHA Brigade, is an agency set up by Governor Obiano led administration to ensure a clean, safe and healthy Anambra.
In view of the above, OCHA Brigade over time has been committed to their duties especially in festive periods and the 2020 Christmas celebration is not different despite the challenges and difficulties occasioned by COVID-19 and End SARS protests among others.


In line with their commitment to the well-being of Ndi Anambra, the OCHA Brigade, Anambra South Zonal Command has embarked on a massive sensitization on the best practices to ensure a healthy Anambra.
They have also embarked on traffic control exercise to assist the state traffic agency, ATMA and their federal counterpart FRSC in ensuring free flow of traffic during this festive period.

Speaking during the exercise at Igbo-Ukwu, the Anambra South Zonal Commander of OCHA Brigade, Mr Obi who commended Governor Obiano’s leadership, called on Ndi Anambra to always corporate with the traffic-regulation-officials for effective service delivery, urging them to keep to the COVID-19 preventive measures to assist the state in the fight against the spread of the deadly virus.
Some road users including Mr Mike Chikeluba and Mr Sunday Ogbodo, commended the services of the OCHA Brigade and assured to be law abiding and also to help spread the message.
