The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese, Right Reverend Prosper Amah has charged parents to always live up to expectations in their family role of training their Children with the fear of the Lord.
Bishop Amah gave the charge while preaching at Saint Michael’s Church Ogwuaniocha, Ogbaru Local Government Area during a service of confirmation and admission into Mother’s Union, Girls Guild and Christian Men’s Fellowship.
The Bishop, who described those in authority as God chosen, stressed the need for people to always support and pray for them to enable them deliver on their various mandates.
While speaking on COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop Amah mandated the people to adhere strictly to all the preventive measures against the virus especially compulsory wearing of protective face mask.
Bishop Amah used the opportunity to reiterate his call on the Federal Government for the immediate dredging of River Niger to save the people living along the riverine from the menace of flooding.
He charged the youths to always engage in meaningful ventures instead of those acts that will mar their future.
