A military aircraft, King Air 350, en route to Minna has crashed, short of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja runway after reporting engine failure.
The plane belonging to the Nigerian Air Force departed Abuja at 10,33am with six persons on board including two crew members.
The Minister of Aviation, Mr. Hadi Sirika, who disclosed this in a tweet, said the accident appears fatal.
Mr. Sirika asked everyone to remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while they pray for the departed soul/souls if any.”
He however assured that Fire services are already at the scene of the accident as all the six persons onboard are fear dead.
