The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi says the agency will never tolerate unwholesome and sharp practices from all their implementing medical providers.
Dr. Onyemaechi who disclosed this while speaking to the ABS in Awka, said the current administration in the state has invested huge amount of money into the scheme to ensure that Ndi Anambra and other residents of the State have access to easy, effective and efficient medical services, and as such, the agency will deal decisively with any implementing medical provider that fall short of their standard.
Dr. Onyemaechi noted that they have over two hundred ASHIA implementing medical providers across the State, in order to help all their beneficiaries to access medical facilities without stress.
He praised governor Willie Obiano for initiating the scheme which he said, has placed Anambra state above her contemporaries in terms of adequate health care provision, and urged affluent Ndi Anambra to key into their adoption model in order to assist the State government in delivering a health care system that is globally competitive.
