As Mothers in the Anglican Church, celebrate Mothers’ Sunday, the President of the Women’s Ministry in the Province of the Niger, Mrs Chioma Ibezim says Mothers are the bedrock of the society who show love to their children, everyone around them and engage in many activities to ensure that they make everyone feel better and accommodated.
Mrs Ibezim who is also the President of the Women’s Ministry in Awka Diocese noted that in Awka Diocese, they engage mostly in mission and evangelism, reminding Mothers that their home is an institution of Christ as family is the centre of God’s creation.
She encouraged Mothers to remain firm and know that God is there for them, even in the face of difficulties, COVID-19, the BOKO Haram insurgency and other challenges facing them and will show them mercy.
