Mothers in Anglican Diocese of Awka and beyond have joined their counterparts the world over to celebrate Mothers’ Sunday of the church.

to show  that the day is for them, the women performed all the activities during the service, including sides men, pastors warden, prayer conductor, flag bearers and more.

Also at Saint Philips Anglican Church, Umuodu-Okpuno, the Resident Priest, Reverend Chidozie Nwakaire, advised mothers to pray always so as to surmount whatever challenge they are passing through in life and endeavour to raise up Godly children who will in turn add a lot of joy to them in future.
