Anambra State council of Traditional Prime Ministers has described the ongoing International Cargo Airport at Umueri in Anambra East Local Government Area as a major legacy project of Governor Willie Obiano in Anambra State
In a communiqué at the end of its meeting at Neni in Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, Council of Traditional Prime Ministers expressed optimism that the International Cargo Airport when completed will go a long way in improving the revenue profile of the State in addition to offering employment for the teeming youth populace.
The group while commending Governor Willie Obiano for series of development in the State also described the ongoing International conference center in Awka the state capital, and his youth empowerment Programmes as a clear indication that  Governor’ Willie Obiano is committed to serve
Anambra State Council of Traditional Prime Ministers charged political gladiators to respect the Zoning arrangement in the governance of Anambra State to ensure equity, fair play and Justice.
It also called for the sourcing of a candidate that will sustain the good legacies of Governor Willie Obiano in Anambra State as the November sixth gubernatorial election draws near
The council called on the Federal Government to map out far reaching measures that will guarantee the safety of Nigerians where ever they reside in the Country.
The communiqué which was jointly signed by the Acting President of the Anambra State council of Traditional Prime Ministers Chief Godwin Okpalaeke and Secretary Chief Joe Nwegwu charged the people to always protect Government facilities in their various areas
