The new leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Anambra State Chapter, has commended the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Dr Uche Nworah, for the support to the organization over the years.

 

The Executive members of the association, led by the President, Prince Emeka Udodeme, was at the Corporate headquarters of the ABS, Awka, to seek stronger partnership with the media organization as it plans to take campaign against electoral violence to the grassroots in view of the November six gubernatorial poll in Anambra State.

Correspondent, Daniel Ezeigwe reports speaking, Prince Udodeme who described Chief Nworah as a longtime supporter of Ohaneze Ndigbo’s programmes, noted that his visionary targets as the ABS boss were a clear evidence of his mastery of organizational management.

 

The group also commended Governor Willie Obiano for changing the paradigm of governance through implementation of  legacy projects, including the soon-to-be completed Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri.

A member of the group, Chief Luke Onyekonwu, who retired in 2004 as a Director in ABS, said that the ABS brand has witnessed massive transformation with Dr Nworah at the helm, and commended Governor Obiano’s value-oriented leadership.

 

Responding, Dr Nworah noted that the ABS platform is always open to idea-driven programmes, including those of Ohaneze Ndigbo, pledging that the organization would continue to partner the group for a progressive Anambra State.

The ABS boss also pointed to Governor Obiano’s projects in Anambra State, stating that his administration would be remembered for improved socio-economic development of the state.
