The Member Representing Nnewi South Two Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Johnbosco Akaegbobi has built and handed over, two bedroom bungalow to  Mr. Godwin Asiegbu of Amadim Village, Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area.

 

House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim was at the handover ceremony and  reports that

it was a moment of joy to the beneficiary and his relations as they sang songs thanking the benefactor for his kind gesture.

Commissioning the building after it was dedicated to God, an indigene of Ukpor community, Sir Lawrence Onuchukwu described the project as a corporal work of mercy, stressing that Honourable Akaegbobi has left his footprints on the sands of time.

 

In his remark, the benefactor, Honourable Akaegbobi explained that he built the house from foundation to finish to show love to Mr Asiegbu in the spirit of Easter and to encourage works of charity.

 

On his part, the Secretary, Amadim Progressive Union, Sir Sunny Okafor announced that the project is the first of its kind in the history of the village, adding that the legislator has performed exceedingly well within one year and eight months in office.

Responding, the beneficiary, Mr Asiegbu thanked Honourable Akaegbobi for his kindness as he heaved a sigh of relief when he embarked on the building project, which he said is beyond his financial capacity.
