A South African based business man, Chief. Osita Offozor, from Umuikwu Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, has called on both the State and federal government to urgently tackle the infrastructural deficit in the council area.
Chief Offozor made the call when he played host to the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe in his Community.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that  according to the business man, who commended Governor Willie Obiano for the various  interventions he has made  in the local government, Anambra West still remains one of the least  developed local government areas  in Nigeria and appealed to government at all levels to  extend more interventions to the area, , especially on  roads.
Chief Offozor commended Chief Chinedu Obidigwe for all his efforts to ensure that federal government continued the construction of the road that passed through the local government to Abuja which was stopped halfway.
Responding Chief Obidigwe who donated ten motorcycles to support the business mogul in his service to humanity, assured that the Obiano administration will ensure the completion of all the roads it embarked upon in the area before the expiration of his tenure.
For  a former  Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West, Hon. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne, Chief Offozor has done a lot  for  his people and prayed God to continue to bless him and his family.
Others who spoke during the event, including his wife, Mrs. Chimamanda Offozor, the member representing Anambra West Constituency in  the State House of Assembly, Hon. Patrick Obalim-Udoba, the local government Woman Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Mrs. Maureen Nwakasi, the President, Anambra West Political Vanguard, Mr. John David, the President, Oraka Youths Worldwide, Prince Chukwuemeka Nwokedi commended Chief Offozor for his numerous services to humanity and urged him not to relent.
