When the tenure of Governor Willie Obiano’s administration winds down on March seventeenth, 2022, the story of his governance, proponents argue, would remain a reference point for leadership marketing and administrative assessment.

Consequently, at the public presentation of the book, “Governor Willie Obiano, 7 Years of Delivering Good Governance in Anambra State, 2014 – 2021”, published by the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, in Awka, the atmosphere lent reason to the above argument and why the book remains a must-read for aspiring administrators.

The masterpiece, a two hundred and forty-four paged, fifty-four chaptered documented commentaries of Governor Obiano’s  achievements since the dawn of his administration in March, 2014, was co-edited by Dr. Uche Nworah, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABS and Dr. Emeka Arinze,Head of Current Affairs Unit and  a public affairs analyst.

The book reviewer, Professor Frank-Collins Okafor, a Professor of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, in his critique, observed that the book demonstrates excellent illustration in its design, content and grammatical accuracy, though it would have made for a quicker and untiring read if it was arranged thematically  than sectorally.

Assessing the book, the member representing Njikoka Constituency Two at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Tim Ifedironma and the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Political Matters, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, said that the piece pictures a leadership model that conquered political doubts and serves as a clear template for future regimes.

The Director of Anambra State Library Board, Dr. Nkechi Udeze and the Managing Director of Awka Capital Development Authority, ACTDA, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa, in their separate views, commended ABS for the compilation, noting that its content would provide a unique source of learning among students, whose philosophies about administrative methodology  are at the cradle.

In his remark, the co-editor of the book and MD/CEO of ABS, Chief Nworah, said that the literature had been published for posterity reference, adding that the publishers will, in partnership with the Anambra State Library Board, ensure that the book is circulated across all public and private libraries in Nigeria for easier reach and wider readership.

The book could be downloaded from existing e-book and literary apps including Amazon.
