The Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor has said that the huge amount of money invested by Governor Willie Obiano in repositioning the Anambra Broadcasting Service has continued to yield the expected results in view of the giant contributions of the state media organ to the success story of the Obiano administration.
In his congratulatory message to the ABS during the unveiling of the book “Governor Willie Obiano: Seven Years of Delivering Good Governance in Anambra State, held at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Centre Awka, Right Honourable Okafor described the event as a monumental success owing to the fact that the book recorded prominent achievements of the Obiano administration from 2014 to date.
The Speaker, who eulogized Governor Obiano for putting on ground enough human and infrastructural projects worthy of capturing in the historic book of records, commended the editors, Dr. Uche Nworah and Dr. Emeka Arinze as well as the contributors to the inspiring and informative pages of the book for recording the exact truth about the unprecedented achievements of Governor Obiano.
On his part, the Deputy Speaker, Dr. Paschal Agbodike enjoined management and staff of the ABS not to relent in rendering quality service to the government and people of the state and urged the Governor to keep up his good works.
