The striking Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, has urged the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige to continue with the peace talk geared towards amicable resolution of the union’s strike.
The union commended the Ministry’s role in ensuring peaceful relations at members’ work places, thereby ensuring good environment for Nigerians to access justice.
JUSUN, in a letter to the Minister signed by its General Secretary, I. Adetola, however apologized for leaving a scheduled meeting last week, after waiting for about two hours.
They explained that the actions of some of their members present at the meeting, mostly Muslims, were based on religions consideration, as they had to break their fast
