Governor Willie Obiano haso assured the completion of the Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital project before the end of his administration.
The Governor gave the assurance through his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke during the inspection of the ongoing structure being constructed by the state government to support already existing structures at the Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital, in Njikoka Local Government Area.

Poo and Governor Obiano, who restated the resolve of his administration towards continuous repositioning of healthcare system of the state, promised that his government will try to make sure that the project and other ongoing projects in the state are completed before his second tenure elapses.
He urged contractors handling the project to do the needful to deliver according to specification and schedule.
On his part, the Contractor handling the project, Mr Emeka Nwandu assured to meet up with the state government’s target on the project.
Speaking, the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr Uchenna Okeke commended Governor Willie Obiano for the special attention he is giving to healthcare facilities in the state, saying that the project will on completion, give facelift to the hospital, provide more offices for health workers, and as well provide accommodation for healthcare equipment, all geared towards providing quality health care services to Ndi Anambra.
