Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has said that plans by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to expand voter access to Polling Units in the state will encourage more citizens’ participation in the electoral process.
Governor Obiano made the remark at a “Stakeholders Forum on Expansion of Voter Access to Polling Units” organized by INEC at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka.
The forum had in attendance, representatives of People Living with Disabilities, members of the State Executive Council, members of the National and State Lawmakers and Security agencies among others.
