A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Engineer Chuks-Michael Mofunanya has commended governor Willie Obiano for raising the tempo of socioeconomic development of Anambra state.
Engineer Mofunanya, an indegine of Umudioka Awka, Awka South Local Government Area who stated this while speaking to the ABS in Awka, praised Governor Obiano for innovatively developing all sectors of the State, through prudent management of resources.
According to Chief Mofunanya, who is an estate developer, the Governor has done tremendously well in the areas of infrastructural and human capital developments.
He noted that Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, the Awka International Conference Centre, Awka Township Stadium, various Flyovers and Bridges, scattered across the state has endeared the Governor to Ndi Anambra and Nigerians in general.
The APGS Chieftain who decried the alarming insecurity in Nigeria, appealed for all hands to be on deck in tackling the ugly trend, as according to him, no meaningful development can take place without adequate protection of lives and property.
