Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, has called on individuals and communities to use its various platforms of the establishment to promote their businesses, culture and tradition
The News Manager of the establishment, Mr. Abuchi Nwozor made the call during an advocacy visit to one of the illustrious sons of Adazi-Ani community in Anaocha Local Government Area.
Correspondent, Daniel Ezeigwe reports that the major aim of the visit, according to Mr. Nwozor who was representing the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Dr. Uche Nworah, was to seek a lasting partnership that would help project the image of the organization better to the global community.
In his remark, Mr. Nwozor noted that the landmark digital transformation of the media outfit, made possible by Governor Willie Obiano, provides an ample opportunity for Ndi Anambra within and outside the country to capitalize on.
He also praised the current leadership of the ABS led by Dr. Nworah as one that has deepened professionalism, commitment and excellent service delivery, stating that the station has never had it better than now.
Responding, the host, Chief Okafor-Onyilo said ABS has always stood strongly as a perfect media voice in Anambra State, with Dr Nworah at the helm, pledging to partner the media house in its activities.
Chief Okafor-Onyilo, who is also the Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Anambra State on Legal Matters, also commended Governor Obiano for his achievements in Anambra State, pointing out that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, remains the party for the Igbo agenda.
In a vote of thanks, a member of ABS staff, Mr. Chibuzo Obidike, who was among the visiting team, commended the host for his hospitality, and stated that the advocacy visit was part of grassroots relationship and mobilization of ABS.
