The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Mr. Willie Okafor has unveiled the state readiness to partner banks for the establishment of housing schemes for civil servants.
Mr. Okafor, who made the revelation in an interview with the press, listed the banks to include Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, the Family Home front among others.
According to him such institutions have all kinds of policies ranging from affordable housing, mass housing, and low-income housing.
While urging the Federal Government to de-emphasize the unilateral policy it adopted for housing development across states of the Federation, Mr. Okafor also asked the federal government to consider developing separate housing policies for different states in consideration of their individual peculiarities.
