The Awka North Chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria yesterday joined their voices in praises for the gift of Holy Spirit.
The chapter who came together in commemoration of the Pentecost Sunday noted that Holy Spirit is the owner of the church and gracious gifts offered to mankind by Christ for comfort, direction and vision.
Addressing the members at King of Glory Assembly Church, Amansea, the Special Assistant to the Governor On Religion and Pentecostal Matters, Reverend Felix Eke said the power of Holy Spirit is the basis of Christianity and has empowered man to conquer in all life endeavours.
He lamented that many have left the way of Christ thereby partaking in the things of the world, warning that no one should joke with the spirit of God because it brings healing, peace, and prepares one to live life eternal.
Reverend Eke reminded the members that they are that arm of the church that believes in speaking in tongues as the evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, encouraging them to continue their fight in evangelism, fellowship, mission and soul winning.
He further asked them to continue to pray for the state, especially Governor Willie Obiano whom he said has extended his hands of fellowship to PFN in the state pointing out that he released money to equip the PFN hospital and provided them with other largees. UP SOT
