Anambra State Government has reassured its citizens and other investors of favourable atmosphere for their businesses to thrive.

 

The Chairman, Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Honourable Ifeanyi Ibezi, gave the assurance during the inspection of construction of access and internal roads at Green Valley Housing Estate, Awka.

 

Correspondent, Amaka Chibuzor Okoye  reports that while speaking to newsmen shortly after the inspection, Honourable Ibezi, expressed satisfaction  with the quality of work done so far on the roads, which he said are fifty to seventy percent completed, and awaiting the ground breaking by the State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano.

Honourable Ibezi disclosed that the Corporation will soon market the Estate online, and called on Ndi Anambra and others to invest, in order to achieve objectives of the think-home philosophy of the present administration.

 

He commended Governor Obiano for the plans initiated in ensuring that Ndi Anambra have an affordable housing scheme, calling on people to utilize the opportunity and secure a home for themselves, adding that there are staff housing units in the Estate, which will accommodate Civil servants in the State.

 

On his part, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Architect Willie Okafor, said the Estate, which is ninety hectares, will accommodate all infrastructural facilities as obtainable in developed cities.

Architect Okafor noted that the Corporation attracted investors, in line with the “Akulue uno” policy of the Obiano administration, stating that in no distant time, the Estate will ready for people to come and invest in.

 

The inspection also took the team to Liberation Housing Estate, Awka, where work is ongoing, with the Contractor on ground constructing the drainages and partitioning the lots.
