Governor Willie Obiano’s sixty-sixth birthday has been described as a worthy milestone accomplished at the right time.

 

Respondents who spoke to the ABS in a message to celebrate the governor’s birthday remarked that Governor Obiano’s new age coincides with the height of his administrative success, and is worthy to be celebrated.

 

Governor Willie Obiano was born on August 8, 1955 and his current birthday would be the last to be held in his present political capacity.

 

The governor, who assumed office on March 17, 2014, has achieved what many Ndị Anambra described as legacies that would eternally accompany his name.

 

Felicitating with the governor, his Special Adviser on Disability Matters, Barrister Chuks  Ezewuzie noted that Governor Obiano is a man who believes in people’s capabilities and does not look down on anyone irrespective of their physical challenges.

 

Barrister Ezewuzie while stating that Governor Obiano remains the only Governor  in the history of Anambra State to give people living with disabilities a loud voice in governance, said that his new age represents greater days ahead.

 

On his part, the Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa stated that Governor Obiano’s early vision of a cosmopolitan capital city is a cardinal reason for the establishment of the local authority and is gradually taking shape in Awka and surrounding towns.

 

Venerable Okwuosa who congratulated the governor for attaining sixty-six, prayed for more wisdom and long life for the governor.

 

The Special Assistant to the governor on Community Liason, Comrade Obi-Ochije Modilim said that Governor Obiano’s time in office has proven great points to doubters, disclosing that the completion of his legacy projects would add stronger caption to his exciting leadership accomplishments.
