More community leaders in Anambra State have continued to encourage the electorate to participate in the ongoing continuous voter registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

Speaking to the ABS in Awka, the President-General of Neni Town Union in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Chukwudi Mbonu, while describing the voters card as a veritable instrument for electing credible leaders, charged eligible voters at Neni to register with INEC and obtain their permanent voters card to  enable them participate in the Nations electoral process.

Chief Mbonu used the opportunity to advise the people to take full ownership of the Nations electoral process warning them against mortgaging their conscience during elections.

Contributing the President-General of Nanka Patriotic Union in Orumba North Local Government Area  Chief  Paul Chinedu who cautioned eligible voters against being indifferent during elections reminded them that their voters card is the only instrument they can use to enthrone good governance.

The President-General of Nanka Patriotic Union, called for concerted efforts to safeguard the Nations democratic governance.

Chief Chinedu, charged the people to always engage in those things that will promote peaceful co-existence.
