Full academic activities has resumed in riverine Communities of Anambra state for the first term of 2021/2022 academic session.
This is in line with the special academic calendar introduced by Anambra State Government for schools in riverine and flood prone communities, to avert further disruption of academics.
Correspondent, Oggorchukwu Oranu, who monitored the resumption in some secondary schools in Ogbaru Council Area, reports that both teachers and students are in good mood for the session.
Some of the teachers who spoke to the ABS, including, Mrs Hope Anwakeze, Vice Principal, Academics, of Community Secondary School, Odekpe, Mrs Monica Ifeagwazie and Mrs Florence Edokwe, thanked Anambra State government for the initiative which according to them, will make students in riverine areas to be at par with their counterparts across the state.
