The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has commiserated with Ogbunike Community and Ekwegbalu family over the death of his father inlaw, Chief Sunday Ekwegbalu.
The Governor in company of the Traditional Ruler of Aguleri, Eze Michael Idigo and the Aguleri Royal cabinet visited his in-laws as it is customary in Igbo land.
While commiserating with the family, Governor Obiano who recalled the fatherly role played by the late Chief Ekwegbalu the first day he came to marry his wife, Chief Mrs. Obiano, described him as a good man who lived a decent life.
He asked the family and Ogbunike community to borrow a leaf from the legacies left by late Chief Ekwegbalu.
Responding on behalf of the family, Chief Ikechukwu Ekwegbalu, appreciated the governor for condoling with them.
Late Chief Sunday Ekwegbalu died at the age of eighty six.
