Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala, has expressed regrets over poor attitude of Ndi-Anambra to COVID-19 preventive measures, even as the third wave is spreading in the country.
While interacting with Information Officers at Central School Field Akpo, Dr. Okpala described as disturbing, the fact that ninety-nine percent of the people at events do not wear their facemasks.
He reminded Ndi-Anambra that COVID-19 is still spreading and it’s Delta variant even more deadly, even with the availability of COVID-19 vaccines.
He explained that he has completed his required doses, and assured that COVID-19 vaccines are certified safe, without side effects, encouraging everybody to go for it and still observed preventive measures.
