A civil servant, Mrs. lfeoma Egbosi, has commended Governor Willie Obiano for his achievements and commitment to serve Ndi-Anambra better, especially with prompt payment of workers’ salary.
Speaking to ABS on the thirty years of the State’s creation, Mrs Egbosi recalled that the Governor’s insistence on prompt payment of salary earned him the nickname, ”Alert Governor”, pointing out that meeting the huge wage bill monthly is not a mean feat.
According to her, Governor Obiano’s vision to see that Anambra becomes the first choice investment destination and hub of industrialization and commercial activities led to series of aggressive security capacity building programmes that have now equipped security agencies in the State for optimal performance.
She also hailed the Governor for providing facilities needed to combat crime, especially donating vehicles, motorbikes, modern security gadgets to security agencies, which has made Anambra Nigeria’s safest State, leading to inflow of investment in the State.
According to Mrs. Egbosi, the incumbent state Chief Executive has provided compensation and welfare packages for Civil servants in the State, to ensure optimal service delivery, greater productivity and better life for them.
