The Newly elected president of the Anambra State Association of traditional Prime Ministers Ndionowu Chief Godwin Okpalaeke says the association will continue to partner traditional Rulers and other cultural proponents to ensure the sustenance of Igbo custom and tradition.

Speaking after his emergence following the demise of the founder and pioneer president of the association Dr Anthony Enukeme one year ago, Chief Okpalaeke said that traditional Prime Ministers as the political wing of the monarch will continue to embark on those Programmes that will project various Communities in addition to showcasing their culture and tradition positively.

He used the opportunity to call on the people to participate in the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise to obtain their voters card in order to take active part in elections.

Chief Okpalaeke who is the Traditional Prime Minister of Azia Community in Ihiala Local Government Area while thanking members of the association of Traditional Prime Minister in Anambra State for the confidence reposed in him paid glowing tribute to the fallen founder of the association Dr Anthony Enukeme of Neni, promising to consolidate on the achievements already recorded by the association.

The New president of Anambra State association of Traditional Prime Ministers Chief Okpalaeke called on members to give him all the necessary support to achieve his mission and vision.

In their various remarks the first Vice President of the association Chief Patrick Oyediuba and Secretary Chief Joe Nwegwu re-assured of creating more awareness through sensitization to save Igbo language and culture from extinction.

Anambra State association of Traditional Prime Ministers had earlier observed a one minute silence for the fallen founder and pioneer president of the association Dr Anthony Enukeme Onowu Neni, and other departed members of the association.
