Ndi Anambra and residents in the state will go to polls on November 6, 2021 to elect the next governor of the state after Governor Willie Obiano. It is expected that the processes, which have started, will be peaceful and devoid of fraud, violence and further unnecessary litigations.
Candidates should be reminded that the election is not a do or die affair; rather it is a game of numbers. Any person that God wants to win must surely win. Therefore, they should take it easy to see what the Lord can do for them.
Anambra State is a peaceful state and Ndi Anambra should not allow the power tussle to scatter the state by some of those who do not even know how Anambra State started and how it reached to this stage. Any governorship candidate who would want to cause mayhem in the November 2021 election would face the wrath of God. Those who intend to foment trouble should stay clear for God is in charge in Anambra state.
Ndi Anambra should be fervent in their prayers so that God will continue to subdue the evil plans of the evil men against the State. There is no doubt that Anambra is the heartbeat of Ndigbo and the father of Igbo land.
The state has produced the likes of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, First President of Nigeria; Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ezendigbo gburugburu; Dr. Chike Obi, the great Mathematician; Engineer Emeagwali, the world computer wizard; Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, World Economist and former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor and Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former Secretary-General of Common Wealth among many others.
Hence, Ndi Anambra, the eyes of the world are on you to test and to know your ability and your political understanding in the forthcoming governorship election. This is not a time to betray them. Above all, all the legacy projects of our able Governor Obiano will be for nothing if Ndi Anambra vote wrongly for a person who will betray them.
Ndi Anambra should come out with one voice and one heart on November 6, 2021 to convince other states, Nigeria and the world that we are still what we are – the light of the nation. We should prove to them that God is with us and that the election will be far better than that of 2017.
This is why we Ndi Anambra should not allow any political party to cause any mayhem in the forthcoming election. They can equally do this by trooping out en mass to register now at the INEC office in their local government areas to enable them cast their votes that day.
Ndi Anambra should also pray so that God would give them a good person as governor who will bring more honour to the State as He did in 2017. Anambra is a quality state that needs a quality person as their governor, who could build up the economy of Anambra State from where Governor Willie Obiano will stop.
Anambra needs a person who will carry everybody along, irrespective of the religious denomination, senatorial district or political linen. They need someone who would see what is happening in Nigeria and the world at large and know where to stand, how to protect and carry the affairs of the state for excellence. This is because if Anambra fails, it will be the failure of Ndigbo.
Thanks God for Governor Obiano and the APGA Executives who have pulled the living lion’s teeth by carrying the affairs of Ndi Anambra up to this time. Anambra needs a quality person like Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to be their Governor to enable them realize their dream of dredging the River Niger to be an International Seaport, just as Governor Obiano brought the International Cargo And Passenger Airport.
This has exalted Ndi Anambra to a higher position in Africa and in the world.
