The federal government has been asked to ensure equitable distributions of the country’s wealth to all parts of the country for optimal development of the country.
The chairman, Anambra State Leaders of Thought, Chief Charles Udeh gave the advice while playing host to a delegation from the Anambra State Oil Producing Communities in company of an Acting Director Ecology and Environment, Federal Ministry of Environment, Awka Mrs Ngozi Anyaragwu and the Chief Coordinator and Liaison officer Anambra State Leaders of Thought Chief Godwin Obiora in his GRA Onitsha residence.
Staff reporter Emengini Osadebe reports that Chief Udeh who expressed joy at the teams visit regretted the marginalization of some parts of the country especially the South East Zone saying that the success story of Anambra State been enlisted among Oil Producing States is a progress for Ndi Anambra as the State will soon start to enjoy what is due to her.
He promised to meet with the state governor Chief Willie Obiano for prompt attention and implementation.
Earlier the Chief Co-ordinator and Liaison officer Anambra State Leaders of Thought who is also the Chief Co-ordinator Anambra East Oil Producing Communities Chief Obiora while presenting some documents from different offices to back up the efforts he made thanked Chief Udeh for finding him worthy and encouraging him to carry out job of galvanizing all the Oil producing Communities in the state.
On her part the Acting Director Ecology and Environment Federal Ministry of Environment Awka Mrs Ngozi Anyaragwu appreciated Chief Udeh for his efforts and fatherly Advice towards achieving this feat and urged Ndi Anambra to rejoice as they will now join other oil producing States to enjoy the benefits of oil States.
