Christians have been called upon to always reflect on their lives and open their hearts for Jesus Christ in order to inherit the kingdom of God.

In a word of exhortation during a combined service at the Deeper Life Bible Church headquarters, Awka, the Anambra State Two Overseer of the Church, Pastor Jude Chukwuocha, equally advised the faithful to always live an upright life for everlasting benefits.

Emmanuel Chigbata reports that Pastor Chukwuocha decried the high rate of corruption, contamination and defilement in the society and called on Christians to rise to the occasion and bring the needed transformation.

Laying emphasis on the theme of the service “Written Concerning Me” Pastor Chukwuocha maintained that for one to discover God’s plans he must abide with the word of God and live a fulfilled life.

He admonished the church to discover what God has said concerning them by studying God’s words and keeping his laws always and urged them to desist from sin or other acts capable of undermining their fellowship with God.

Pastor Chukwuocha called on youths to shun social vices including stealing, murder, prostitution, cybercrime and cultism as they are agents of distraction for everlasting life, stating that this period calls for soul reflection.

On their parts, the Group Pastor, Amikwo group of Districts Awka, Pastor Donatus Ndum, and the Group Pastor Araba Headquarters Church Awka, Pastor Joseph Onyeanusi, charged Christians to rekindle their hope in God and emulate Jesus Christ in all their dealings.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Professor Charles Esimone, and Justice Chukwudi Nwankwo of the Anambra State High Court, who were part of the service, implored youths to toe on the part of righteousness and desist from crime and criminality.

They prayed for the will of God in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election as well as peace and security of the country.

Hymns, praises and thanksgiving climaxed the service.
