The Anglican Bishop of Niger West, Right Reverend Johnson Ekwe has called on leaders in various communities to use every opportunity they have to better the lives of others.

Bishop Ekwe who made the call while delivering a sermon during his pastoral visit to Saint John’s Anglican Church Ugume-Umueri in Anambra East Local Government Area noted that community stakeholders have vital roles to play in ensuring peace, unity and development of their communities, stressing the need for them to be in good relationship with God to attract His blessings.

Bishop Ekwe called on affluents in the society to remember the downtrodden around them.

The Anglican prelate urged Christians to develop the habit of thanking and praising God at all times no matter the challenges as God never fails.

The Bishop advised youths to always respect, honour and heed the advice of elders for posterity and for peace of their community.
