Society for Equity Justice and peace, SEJUP, a non-governmental Organization of the Anglican Communion, has called on the Anambra Electorate to come out en-masse this Saturday to exercise their franchise.

In a statement in Awka SEJUP, described electoral processes especially Voting as a major Civic responsibility of the people.

It cautioned the people against mortgaging their conscience during elections reminding them of the need to vote in only credible candidate that has zero tolerance for inequity and injustice.

Society for Equity Justice and Peace, SEJUP advised Political gladiators against politics of character assassination and hate in order not to overheat the polity.

The statement which was signed by the General Manager of SEJUP, Dr Emma Ezenwaji maintained that no election is worth human blood and advised the youths to resist being used by faceless politicians to cause mayhem during and after Elections.

SEJUP in the statement reminded those in leadership positions of the need to use such in improving the living standards of the people.

It called for adequate security of life and property especially during the forthcoming Governorship election in Anambra State to guarantee the protection of the electorate who will come out to exercise their voting rights.
