The traditional Ruler of Awka Community Obi Gibson Nwosu has Commended the people of Awka for turning out en-mase on November sixth during the just concluded Anambra State Governorship election.
Obi Nwosu who made his feelings known in an exclusive interview with the ABS in his palace, expressed happiness over the outcome of the election which he described as a true reflection of the wish of Ndi Anambra.
The traditional Ruler of Awka Community, Obi Nwosu while commending Governor Willie Obiano for all his legacy projects in Anambra State especially the ongoing construction of Anambra International Convention center in Awka, the upgrade of Awka city stadium among others, expressed the hope that the Governor elect professor Chukwuma Soludo will continue with the legacy projects of Governor Willie Obiano whose tenure is gradually coming to an end.
Obi Nwosu who is one of the founding members of the Nigerian Air Force, reassured Governor Willie Obiano and the Governor elect Professor Soludo of total Support of the people of Awka at all times.
The traditional Ruler of Awka Community, commended President Mohammadu Buhari, for providing an environment that resulted in the conduct of free and fair Election in Anambra State an indication that the Nation’s democracy is advancing.
Obi Nwosu used the opportunity to call on the people of the state to continue praying for Governor Willie Obiano to enable him finish strong and for the successful Inauguration of Professor Chukwuma Soludos administration in March seventeenth 2022.
Meanwhile, the Traditional Ruler of Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area Igwe Godwin Ezeilo has described Anambra as a State that is richly blessed.
Igwe Ezeilo who spoke to the ABS expressed happiness with the outcome of the November sixth Governorship election which produced Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the Governor elect
Igwe Ezeilo who is the Chairman of Orumba North Local Government Area council of Traditional Rulers and Vice Chairman of traditional rulers in Anambra South Senatorial District expressed optimism that Professor Soludo a one-time Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, will introduce policies that will improve more the economy of Anambra State.
He used the opportunity to commend Governor Willie Obiano for all his legacy projects in Anambra State and expressed the hope that the Governor elect professor Soludo will continue with such projects for enhanced transformation of Anambra State.
Igwe Ezeilo while re-assuring the total support of the people of Nanka community to the State government called on the people to always see the development of the State as collective responsibility.
